How can a temporarily prevent jobs from running on a host?

Rather than modify the corresponding hostgroup(s), and then forgetting to change them back, use, for example,

  qmod -d R815.q@node117

and later enable via qmod -e .... Then the queue status look like

  R815.q@node117    P    0/0/32    0.00    lx24-amd64    d

so the node is not forgotten.
