You want to use both OSs?
- You want to use Linux, but still need access to MS Windows, just in case?
- Dual-boot
-
- Install both MS Windows and Linux on same machine/disk:

    - ensure MS Windows is first on the disk — in both space and time.

- Access to only one OS at a time.

- Virtualisation
-
- VMWare;
    VirtualBox
- Run two or more OS simultaneously — performance hit.
- Make sure you have plenty of RAM (at least 2GB, pref. 4GB).
